Origin of the Universe

Viking mythology suggests that when an eclipse occurs it is as a result of two wolves, Hati and Skoll, catching the moon or the sun. Stephen Hawking, through his book The Grand Design, asserts that God is redundant in the clarification of the beginning of the world. According to Hawking the factors that render God redundant are physical laws, for example the law of gravity. The renowned British theoretical physicist claims that the world is a result of the ‘Big Bang’. Arguments such as the ‘kalam’ formation reveal that the world does not have an origin but rather its sole cause is God.
