Santiago Discussion Post
The Santiago route is a route used by most Christians and especially a lot of Catholics towards the place where St James remains are considered to have been found. These are in the place whereby most of the people believe once they walk to their sins are forgiven. The route takes a person a full month to finish and there are different places to rest and visit along the way like the cathedral of St James or Santiago. It is an important route to a lot of Catholics and even in recent days, people consider it the 3rd holiest place in Christian history and therefore still go there for pilgrimage. Very many people take on these kinds of journeys however with the mind that they are going towards a good place for spirituals exercise however do not account for the happenings on the way. This puts them in risk as it was in the Middle Ages as people tried to go for pilgrimage. Therefore, it is important to look out for means and how a person will manage the pilgrimage instead of just gong forward without any planning or knowing what to expect.
